Great Blue Heron with a Bluegill Lunch - Half Moon Lake

I have had the pleasure of lunching with this Blue on several occasions. This day was the most memorable yet as it was very close to me in my car blind and gave my first glimpse of them using their beak as a stabbing mechanism. I thought they just grabbed their prey but makes complete sense now that I was able to see it in action.
